About me
Singer, Songwriter, Actor, Performer, Playwright, and Mother. Symonne SPARKS trained first with Opera Theatre of St. Louis, then studied Music: Vocal Performance at The University of Missouri and recently received her master's degree from MU in Theatre and Performance Studies. Sparks has used her gifts to assist in many genres, including Gospel, Opera, Jazz, R&B, Pop, and Musical Theatre. Sparks was also the MTI representative for KCACTF Region 5 in Washington DC and received the 2023 National Musical Theatre Award at the Kennedy Center. She has even performed several times for the NFL, with the most recent engagement being her 4th appearance for the Kansas City Chiefs. Symonne hopes to continue working closely within the music and theatre realm as well as other creative arts facets and eventually use her voice - through songs covered or original, through performance of all types, and through writings and spoken word, to create a lasting impact of love and light.
