About me
Originally from Illinois, Katie earned her MA in Arts Administration from University of Kentucky and her BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University. She has taught and directed with nationally recognized institutions including Imagination Stage, Signature Theatre and Wolf Trap Institute of Early Learning Through the Arts. Katie has served various Iowa nonprofit arts organizations in many capacities and now serves the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts as Education Director. She is a driving force behind Footliters Imagination Studio, and has written four original musicals. Young Footliters will premiere her fifth musical, The Great Zoo Escape, in summer 2025.
