About me
Originally from northwest ND, Noah J. Files has worked in the theatre on both coasts and throughout the Midwest. He earned his MFA in Scenic Design from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a BA in Theatre Arts from Minot State University in Minot, ND. A former Region V student, Noah could not be happier to serve the students, faculty, and staff as Vice Chair of Design, Technology, and Management for KCACTF Region V.
A true theatre generalist, Noah has been a part of every aspect of theatrical production. He has extensive experience as a Scenic Designer, Scenic Artist, Sound Designer, Props Master, and Technical Director. He has also amassed a large body of work as an actor, most recently as Malcolm Sterling in It’s Getting Tired, Mildred and singing the role of Robert in The Bridges of Madison County.
He is a member of professional organizations USITT and the Guild of Scenic Artists. Professionally, He has previously worked for Des Moines Metro Opera, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, New York Stage and Film, and Western Plains Opera.
