About me
Lindsey Duoos Williams is the Artistic Director at Rochester Civic Theatre in Rochester, Minnesota. For thirteen years, she served as the Theatre Director at Riverland Community College in Austin, Minnesota, where she created the state’s only AFA in Musical Theatre degree program. Her professional work outside of education includes acting, directing, producing, stage management, and design. Her career began in Southern California where she worked at the Tiffany Theaters, Pico Playhouse, Musical Theatre West, North Coast Repertory Theatre, San Diego Musical Theatre, Old Globe Theatre, Stone Soup Theatre Company, Cygnet Theatre, Moonlight Stage Productions, and SeaWorld San Diego, among others. Lindsey’s interest in the business side of acting stems from her time in the Equity Department at bicoastal talent agency Kazarian/Spencer/Ruskin & Associates. Most recently, she has been seen performing in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Yitzhak), The Little Mermaid (Ursula), Into the Woods (Baker's Wife), Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), The Musical of Musicals (Abby), and Legally Blonde (Elle's Mom) and has directed Newsies, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Urinetown the Musical, The SpongeBob Musical, The Addams Family, and She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms (Festival 53 Invited Production). Lindsey previously served as the Musical Theatre Intensive Coordinator for KCACTF Region 5 and was a 2021 recipient of the Road Warrior Award. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Southern California and an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University.
