As storytellers and artists, we cannot convincingly portray relationships without incorporating some level of intimacy. From physical contact that communicates familiarity to simulated sexual acts, there are several tools that can be accessed to make these moments informed, consent-driven, and repeatable. We will explore some of the tools to create these moments and workshop different ways they can be used.

Erin Urick (they/them) is an award-winning performer and director, with an MFA in Stage Management from the University of Idaho and over 200 hours of experience as an Intimacy Director. They currently hold a faculty position at Butler Community College in El Dorado, KS.
