About me
Michelle Bombe is the Immediate Past National Chair of KCACTF, Executive Artistic Director of Hope Repertory Theatre- an Equity Theatre in Western Michigan, and Chair of the Theatre Department at Hope College in Holland, MI. Michelle received her MFA in design from U Texas- Austin and her undergraduate degree with an emphasis in performance from the U. of Evansville. Michelle received the KCACTF Gold Medallion for Excellence in Theatre Education in 2016 and again in 2023. Michelle has designed costumes for over 160 productions for professional theatre, colleges, and even in prison through her work with Shakespeare Behind Bars. Michelle’s recent acting credits include roles in The Wolves by Sarah Delappe at Hope College and staged readings of Exit Strategy by Ike Holter, The Hijabis by Rohina Malik, and Just Like Us by Karen Zacharias all as part of the Many Voices Project at Hope College.
