Karen is thrilled and honored to be back here with Region 5 at KCACTF this year. In 2018, 2020, (and virtually in 2022) Karen (AEA, SAG/AFTRA, CAEA, ACTRA) was a guest artist who taught musical theatre workshops, was the MTI choreographer/Open Jar representative, and judged and responded to the Irene Ryan Finals for Region 5 at KCACTF. In 2016 she co-choreographed Mickey’s Storybook Express parade for the opening of Disney’s brand new theme park in Shanghai (SHDR). Five years later in 2021, she returned to China this time as a vocalist in the inaugural cast of Mickey’s Storybook Adventure at The Grand Theatre at SHDR. Karen is very excited to start rehearsals for a movie for the Disney channel immediately following her work here at KCACTF this year.
