About me
Jay Michael Jagim is a scenic and lighting designer based in Des Moines, Iowa. He holds a B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa and an M.F.A. from the University of Connecticut. His professional credits include resident scenic designer at the Alley Theatre in Houston; head of theatre design and production programs at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock and UC Santa Barbara, as well as hundreds of productions around the country. He is an Iowa Stage Theatre Company member emeritus and received the Cloris Lifetime Achievement Award from the Des Moines Theatre Community in 2020.
